A Year of Frustration: Eurosender Let Me Down
I left my Apple Watch in a hotel and hired Eurosender to ship it from Italy to the Netherlands. I paid for insurance. Although the package was properly picked up - confirmed by a photo from the hotel doorman - I never received it. Instead, I received a larger package containing a chair from Italy.
I contacted Eurosender on the same day, and what followed was a year full of back-and-forth emails. It took nine months for the incorrectly delivered package with the chair to be picked up again. I believe the delays in correspondence were due to Eurosender.
Now, over a year later, I still haven't received my Apple Watch. Moreover, I received the following message from Eurosender's customer service:
"As mentioned, I have contacted BRT and asked them to reopen the claim. However, the outcome came with a negative result due to the amount of time passed. The courier did not guarantee that the loss claim can be approved, even if the wrong package is returned to the courier's warehouse.
We are closing this ticket now. You won't receive any response from us."
So Eurosender stalled for a year and now they say "it's too late" to make a claim.
