I have used Eurosender to ship items from UK to UK locations and also UK to European destinations. The primary reason that I chose to use Eurosender was because of their competitive shipping rates and offer of “extra insurance" at reasonable cost. Eurosender arranged for a courier to collect the item from my address and ship directly to the delivery address. Tracking was made available for the majority stages of delivery. Both items arrived safely and the recipients were happy with the service. The UK to UK parcel arrived with the recipient one day after collection. The UK to Europe destination parcel arrived after 4 working days. I haven't had a need to claim from the “extra insurance" as both items arrived safely with no damage, so I can not comment on the effectiveness and ease of making a claim, but as I was shipping expensive items I wanted the added “peace of mind". As the name might suggest, Eurosender is a European logistics company, they outsource and arrange courier collection and delivery using various, well-known courier companies. Being a European company the “add address details" section can look a bit “foreign", for want of a better word, but this is mainly due to the way that the UK write their address details slightly different from most other European countries. Another factor to consider is the use of Euros for payment; being a UK customer there was a small “foreign transaction fee" added to the order (which was made via PayPal). Even with the transaction fee included the quote was still the cheapest quote, for my particular needs, that I could find online. Eurosender also offer free insurance to a limited value with every order. I cannot recall the exact amount of free cover offered but I do remember that it was quite generous. From my experience using Eurosender to arrange parcel collection and delivery I would recommend this company.
