This was my second visit and it felt very different from the first, mostly due to the technician. I only have the first visit to compare it to, so maybe his way was the more normal, but I much preferred my first tech!
On the first visit, the woman spent time speaking to me about my needs, listened to any concerns and addressed them. She didn't make me feel rushed and I felt as though she cared about my experience and outcome. She also spent more time on my actual face. Again, I'm not sure if this is the norm, but she made me scrunch and then marked with a white pencil where she was going to inject. There were 6 dots total, spread throughout the single region. The shots were what they were, and I went on my way.
The second visit was very different. It felt super rushed (even though he took me in early from my appointment time), and I didn't feel like I had much opportunity to speak. I did ask a few questions and got one-word answers, and he seemed a bit exasperated that I was asking. He didn't make any marks and proceeded to quickly give me two injections and said I was done. Then he just moved to leave the room. I said "That's it? The last time, she gave me 6," and he said "You don't need that" (even though I got more than double the units on this visit) and left.
The whole thing just felt off and I wasn't sure if I'd let anyone know, but I don't want to go to this location again. I chose Ever/Body because it feels boutique and personal (ie. I can get botox from my dentist for much cheaper!), but this experience felt very much the opposite.
(It's also worth mentioning that the first tech told me that botox lasts 3 - 4 months, and the second said it lasts two max. I'm not sure which is true, but I feel weird about the mixed messaging.)
