It was a trip of a lifetime. And so much of it was due to the terrific planning and hard work of the Evolution Trek team. This was in all aspects of the trip - prompt and thoughtful responses to emails, showing up five minutes early for every meeting, perfect recommendations for restaurants and hotels, taxis ready for transport, etc. We really had no problems at all. We went on the Choquequirao Trek / Manchu Picchu. It was incredible. Grueling at times, but so worth it. Nothing like having an entire Incan ruin to yourself. Literally, it was just my buddy, our guide and me. Our guide, Flavio, was simply perfect. He blended the right amount of hiking wisdom, with history, botany, and bird knowledge to keep us entertained, but not overwhelmed. The support team of Fernando, Victor, Nicholas were great - starting with the coffee before sunrise, to the enormous/ delicious meals, all the while hustling through the same trails as us carrying supplies and tending the team of horses. I highly recommend Evolution Trek.
