Overall, Evolve seems to be a quality organization within the electric skateboard industry. However, Evolve does have some big issues. (1) Inventory stock. Evolve should analyze which products sell the most, are high-failure items, etc., and overstock those items, so customers are not waiting extremely lengthy time frames for their skateboard needs. I waited at least 3 months just for the inner tubes to come back into stock. That's way too long for riders who need to repair/maintain their boards and get rolling again. (2) the customer service number. It's great that Evolve has a contact number where customers can reach a live person; however, far too often nobody picks up the phone. There have been many occasions I've called with questions and no one picked up the phone, even after several attempts at calling. Additionally, the personnel that does answer the phone on occasion, do not project a professional demeanor. I understand things may be laid back in this particular organization; however, Evolve is still a business, and its personnel should deliver professionalism when engaging with customers over the phone. Having YouTube tutorials are great and helpful, and it's nice to have an organization like this that provides very cool electric vehicles, but certain fundamental elements of business are still important--like quality customer service and keeping major items in stock.
