From the outset the team at Far & Wild ensured they really got to understand what we, as a family, were after from our holiday to Kenya & Zanzibar. They gave us fantastic advice and despite the fact we were booking relatively late in the day managed to secure us perfect options. El Karama in Laikipia Kenya blew us away on every level. The game viewing was exceptional with the backdrop of stunning & varied landscape, the people so kind & knowledgeable and lodge beautiful with exquisite food. It was the perfect place to take children with plenty of activities between drives to suit all ages, especially the 4x4 driving on the airstrip! We also spent an unforgettable night fly camping. Zanzibar was just the white sands down time we were after, we did not want a resort experience and Pongwe Beach delivered. Adding on half a day & night in Stone Town gave a bite size nugget of culture. Our final safari stop at Saruni Wild gave a complimentary but different safari experience with game viewing in large numbers, sleeping with wildlife wandering past our incredible tents set on the edge of the wild open plains. It was all topped off with being lucky enough to watch the migration. Lifelong memories made, ensuring our children left with a piece of Africa in their hearts. We will definitely be back for more Far & Wild Experiences.
