Hull Trains are easily the most comfortable and clean trains that you can find in the UK, and the on-board staff are always absolutely lovely: they have never failed to be helpful, polite and friendly. Unfortunately I have recently had a lot of trouble with delays and cancellations on the Hull Trains services so I am starting the feel that they have become quite unreliable. However I should also say in all fairness when I have applied for refunds for delayed journeys I have received excellent customer service from their team so I will keep booking with them for the time being. I just really hope their reliability improves, especially for the Christmas period when I will be travelling a lot and don't want to spend the little free time I have in train stations or stuck on slow services.
