I am happy to find some low fares through the advance booking system. Sometimes this enables me to travel first class which is a comfortable experience. At these times I am usually very happy with the service I receive. This week, I travelled up to Hull from Kings Cross on the 11.48 train. I received a very good service in the first class carriage from the staff who were very friendly and helpful. On my last trip to Hull from London I also travelled first class but unfortunately I did not receive the politeness that is the usual standard. The waitress was rude and told me she didn't have time to wait for me to put the tea bag in the cup before she poured the water in. I think you might have had complaints from other customers about this person as I do not see her featured in the latest copy of Looking Forward. Maybe she has now left her job. The service is well operated and I have never been delayed. Thank you.
