Our family engaged Fitzroy Travel to plan our trip to Sudan. Fitroy's Director, Paul Callcutt reached out to us to understand our family travel style and our expectations. Working with that knowledge, Fitzroy designed an expedition for our family to Sudan that was simply spectacular. Leading up to our travel dates, Paul regularly reached out to give us updates and assist in our preparations for the trip and to accommodate a last-minute flight change. Once in Sudan, the staff we worked with were knowledgeable and efficient. The guide, drivers and cook all were personable and made everything about our trip go smoothly. In Sudan, the people were very welcoming; the archeological sites were fascinating (and devoid of other tourists!); and the scenery was spectacular. We capped off our trip with a four-day sail on the Red Sea with Caption Jack and I cannot recommend that experience enough. Paul from Fitzroy reached out after our return to make sure everything went well and to get insight into how he could make the trip better for the next travelers. Overall, our experience with Fitzroy was excellent.
