Working with FlipSplit was a great experience! We had a unique situation which meant by the time I found FlipSplit, we only had 10 calendar days to sell our home to avoid an even larger tax bill. FlipSplit made the process quick and easy and made us an extremely fair offer. This was in the middle of COVID (Fall 2021), so we handled everything via Zoom. The team was patient, professional, and took the time to explain everything - what to expect, how the process would work, the final proceeds we would receive from the sale, as well as how their expected renovation would go (timing, costs, etc.), and finally the point at which we would potentially participate in additional profits. Ultimately, the market turned for the worse as we all know (major supply chain issues, labor shortages, and finally rising interest rates). I was following the home through online real estate websites, but it was clear there were delays and ultimately price reductions. In the end, there was no additional profits to be shared, but the professional team at FlipSplit still closed the loop with me, provide me with the final sales details outlining all the numbers - and not in some 50 page document where you have to sift through it all - it was presented very clearly, on a single page, in a way that was very easy to understand. If I had another distressed property to sell, or knew anyone else who did, I would not hesitate to reach out to or recommend FlipSplit! Oh - and they did a wonderful job renovating our old distressed home so it can serve the next family and the local community.
