First off, I searched high and low for a beautiful, durable LVP. I got samples from all the major brands. Moved them all over my house to view them in different lighting conditions. I always came back to Flooret. Not only for their beauty, but for their crazy 40 mil wear layer and the embossed in register feature. I also inspected different brands click and lock mechanism and Flooret’s seemed to be the most durable. Now to decide on the perfect color. I started out with the small samples, then chose my four favorite colors. I ordered 3 full size planks of each. I put them all down, moved them around and finally decided (after four months) Kingswood Signature was the way to go. My flooring arrived on time and in perfect condition. My installer commented on the quality of this floor and how it was the best they’ve ever installed. The ease of install was apparent, once they laid a few pieces and figured out the best way to click them together and the amount of pressure needed to tap them into place. I have two big dogs, a full size labradoodle and a chocolate lab, that trashed my original hardwoods, with all of their running, water slobber and bringing the outside in. This is why I sought a high quality LVP. And I have to say all of my research paid off. These floors are beautiful! I’m constantly getting comments on how beautiful my “hardwoods” are, even to the point of me having to pull an extra plank from the garage to prove to one fellow they are indeed LVP. These floors take a beating. And with all of the roughhousing my dogs do, not one single scratch has been found. I do have one scratch that my installers did while moving the fridge back into place, but you really have to be looking for it to see it. Flooret does recommend using Bona floor cleaner, but I personally do not like it. I prefer one gallon of warm water and a 1/4 cup of mister clean, with a well wrung O’cedar mop. This cleans my floor to a beautiful, like new, no streak finish. One side note…On the side of my house, I had an erosion issue as the yard sloped to the basement area. Because of the length and the pliability of the Flooret planks, I took my left over samples and used them to terrace the yard on the side of my house. These planks have been out there for a full year. And I kid you not, they look brand new! If that’s not a testimonial, I don’t know what is! In short, I sing the praises of Flooret, their customer service and their products any chance I get. I love my floors and have ZERO regrets installing them in my home.
