My wife and I enjoyed linking the large cut samples we received from Flooret and viewing them on the floor in our home. Each sample is more than twice the size of the one sent by one of the big box home stores. The difference in the embossed in register grain texture on the Flooret product compared to the texture of the competitive product with a 22 mil wear layer was like night and day. The Flooret products look more classy and less industrial. We preferred the micro bevels on the Craftsman samples better than the enhanced bevels on the Signature samples. If price were no object, we would buy the Craftsman because we prefer the longer and narrower planks, but will probably opt for the Modin Base product, which also has micro bevels and a similar wear layer to the competitive product but at a lower price per square foot.
