This supplement is satisfying, as long as you don't wait until you are ravenous before fixing yourself the liquid meal. I found by pre-empting the hunger pangs, and drinking the meal before I was very hungry at lunch time the meal worked well to keep hunger away, and keeps me going all afternoon.
