I'm afraid Fragrance Direct's customer service falls short in the following areas:
The package of goods we ordered contained the order of another customer.
When we informed the company, the responding email did not include any apology. Rather, it asked us for details of our order which we had already sent and included a request for us to confrm the items received although we had already sent the order number for these. Really careless on their part.
We confirmed that we wished to return the goods which we did very promptly, having downloaded the returns label. We received no acknowledge or thanks for this despite the fact that we had to re-package the goods, print the label and go to our nearest post office.
The documentation in the package we received revealed details of the customer who had ordered them and, although not a contravention of GDPR requirements, signals a lack of care in relation to this company's handling of confidential information.
For the above reasons, we have requested a refund and will not use the company again or, indeed, recommend it to others.
