I ordered the three different filmjolk varieties. I lived in Sweden for many years and have sometimes missed these products, so I was pleased to find the cultures at Freshly Fermented. The cultures arrived promptly and the online instructions were very clear. So far I have only tried one culture (the short langfil) which worked beautifully. The flavour is authentic and delicious. As I am a one person household I only used half the starter culture to a half litre milk. The friendly person I spoke to at Freshly Fermented told me this would be fine and that I could store the remainder of the starter in the freezer for future use. From my original culture I have to date made four batches in succession every four to five days (1 - 2 tbsps from the previous batch per half litre milk) and so far the results have been very good. It doesn't seem to have deteriorated at all. Many thanks!
