ordered two gift baskets, which I already felt were overpriced at $80 each. Shortly after placing the order, I realized the family members I was sending them to had dietary restrictions. Within five minutes, I called to cancel the order, but they refused, stating that it had already been processed. I even offered to pay for the shipping label and refund the basket cost as long as they didn’t ship it, but they still refused.
Eventually, I received the baskets and planned to deliver them to the family myself. However, upon inspecting them, I noticed significant visual differences from the advertised products. When I went through the item lists, I found that half of the items in each basket were missing. I contacted customer service via chat, and they tried to justify it by saying that items are subject to change due to seasonal availability. One of the baskets was a fruit basket, and while I understand seasonal changes can happen, I expected the missing items to be replaced with comparable alternatives.
Additionally, chocolate is not seasonal, so there’s no excuse for that missing item. After pushing for a resolution, I was initially offered a 30% refund but eventually managed to get 50%. Now, I’m left with two poorly assembled baskets that look far too cheap and incomplete to give as gifts. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend their services.
