Allianz do not respond to claims. Avoid at all costs, and get insurance elsewhere.
It’s now been 5 months since making a claim and there has been no response at all, even after repeated emails and phone calls to follow up.
When you call their customer service, expect to be on hold for a while (it took me 1 hour 45 mins for the last call) before being able to speak with an agent. They had records of my emails to them so they did receive them; they just never bothered to respond. I am still struggling to get any compensation back from Allianz; shameful behaviour and obviously their method of trying to get customers to “give up” during the claim process.
Avoid at all costs, and get your own insurance elsewhere.
