The customer service is questionable at best. The front line staff is not well trained and they tell you what you want to hear. Prearranged call backs were never returned. A couple of documents were asked for numerous times and it took them over 13 months to settle the claim. Our primary insurance company took 5 weeks! And the used the same documents and did not ask for them over and over. The emails that they send are vague and so is the website. One tab is listed as Trip Interruption” would be better called Vacation Interruption”. If you go overseas and have a medical emergency you would be better of not using Allianze.
