Bought a car for my son, small engine low mileage not modified ( so i thought) the boy come out to fit telematics box and he told me that it had front lowering springs on it!! I am not a mechanic and do not have a clue about cars so i offered to take car to garage to replace the springs they refused cancelled his insurance ( he only been insured 1 week) and we lost £180 insurance money. bought the car in good faith and insured it thinking it was not modified but it has cost alot of money . Really dissapointed in them. Be aware as they are not interested in any offer to make car right. Flat out refusal using " we wont insure now even if you have a garage change springs because its had a modification" i did ask what would happen if a spring broke and he said that is different!! My fault for not knowing it was lowered and i still could nt tell the difference looking at the telematics engineers ford, So we are £180 down and my son is not able to drive. We now have to replace springs and go through getting insurance for a 17 yr old again ..
