Axa gave vaguely competitive quotes for my van insurance last year, but I was able to haggle with them which resulted in me being happier with the premium, and them being happy they’d retained my business.
This year Axa provided a renewal quote, which appeared to be significantly higher than others that had quoted, so I phoned to discuss. They were not prepared to reduce the premium even a tiny bit, so I was not prepared to give them my money. I shopped around and renewed with a completely different company, saving me a chunk of money.
