I have used Bennetts on and off for years and have always had reasonable service. Today (29th Sept 2014) however I received my renewal notice for the 28th Sept 2014 i.e. yesterday!!!To say I wasn't impressed would be putting it mildly I work in the insurance industry and one of my pet peeves is late renewal letters there is generally no excuse. The young lady on the phone very 'kindly' offered me a very hollow sounding apology and explained that my renewal was sent to on the 9th Sept well all I know is that it never got to my house. When I asked why they didn't have the courtesy to get in touch sooner than a reminder dated the 24th she simply said "it's not company policy and anyway we don't have the resources" very poor form from Bennetts. There was also no explanation as to why my premium has risen by best part of £50.This in my opinion is very poor service and I will be looking elsewhere for my insurance.
