I have always been pleased with the value and service provided by Bennetts until I needed to transfer my insurance to another bike. I had 2 bikes both insured with Bennetts and I traded them both in for a new bike. Bike 1 had 11 months insurance left on it bike 2 had 7 weeks insurance left. I asked to transfer the insurance on bike 1 to my new bike. They said they could not (would not ????) but they could transfer from bike 2. Therefore it has cost me 2 administration fees and a total of £90 for 6 weeks insurance on my new bike. IT ABSOLUTELY STINKS AND I DO NOT CARE WHAT EXCUSES THEY HAVE TO JUSTIFY THIS SCAM IT SHOULD BE STOPPED. A few taps on the computer keyboard and a couple of mouse clicks job done and I thought solicitors were expensive. Of course if it was stopped prices would rise. I have compared the market and Bennetts are still nearly the cheapest so I may stick with them for convenience unless they don't want to insure me after this review. Of course it is not just Bennetts all insurance companies rip you off with administration fees. I am still giving them a 4 star rating because they do generally give good service and value although I can't comment about the claims procedure.
