I paid for motorbike insurance and then had to provide proof of no claims (which I sent twice but was rejected once because it wasn't on headed note paper and the second rejection which included the first page as requested by customer service which was from my previous company but was rejected as it didn't have an expiry date - really confusing as the document clearly stated the start date of the new policy which would be the expiry of the last one), The last lady I spoke to on customer service line clearly did not want to take my call and assist me - I had to force her to take my policy number so she could look into my exact policy and problem and then when I asked to speak to a manager she changed slightly and did offer to call my previous insurer (Carole Nash) but couldn't as there were 20 people waiting on the line - now clearly I am not wanted as a customer but the other 20 were!! I probably shouldn't have called on a Friday afternoon when the CS reps want to go home or have just come back from lunch and want a relaxed afternoon!. So the policy was cancelled (charged £30 for the privilege but worth it because I can't imagine the CS experience if I needed to make a claim or needed advice). On a positive note my previous insurer were and are brilliant and the level of service is outstanding - cannot believe the difference.
