Contents insurance for 2 years with B&B, then a letter saying they can't offer me a renewal quote and are canceling my policy. No reason given. Rang them to check, confirmed can't offer a renewal quote, but operator had no idea why(?) On the day the policy expired, they sent an email saying "We would like to thank you for your custom for the past year and hope you will consider us again in the future." To add insult to injury, they then had the temerity to send another email asking me to complete a survey about my "recent experience with Bradford & Bingley Home Insurance"! Utterly appalling.
