Wife and myself in car crash before Christmas, driver of transit going the wrong way on a dual carriageway (see photo). Daughter contacted company on my behalf as I was hospitalised. Apart from giving a case number nothing else.
When able to follow up the following March, the experience from then until now as case not resolved is extremely disappointing. Apart from the underwriters and solicitor who have been very helpful (hence the two stars) the other draw a zero; that also includes the police as well. Its' all down to communication, keeping me in loop. For example in my account there's a space for showing active cases - on mine it's blank! I have to contact either by email or phone. It would be nice if someone contacted me even to say there's no progress. My wife and myself are still recovering the effects of the crash and me from two ops to rebuild my right elbow. I know cases of this sort take time, but being left in the dark doesn't help.
