Shocking behaviour - Endsleigh Insurance.

I have spent a year now in dispute with Endsleigh over my car insurance (above).
I bought a new car and scrapped my previous one in January 2018.
I phoned Endlseigh in January 2018 and asked for the insurance to be canceled, I took out insurance for my new car with Esure.
A couple of months later and no cancelation was confirmed, and premiums were still being taken from my account.
Repeated phone calls and requests for cancelation are met with denial, obfuscation, misdirection, lack of action, false promises and wilful neglect….. anything other than cancelation and refund.
This extends through a renewal, so includes two disputed periods, quite unbelievable.
Shockingly bad service that borders on criminal / fraudulent behaviour.
And all the time they continue to take premiums, I don't automatically cancel DD's as this can led to demand from creditors; a situation I have experience I'm the past.
I have canceled the direct debit now, and will refer any demand directly to Endsleigh, and continue to pursue this unsettled dispute.
Really shocking behaviour.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?
