For the second time in six years we have had to make a claim for initially our drainage backed-up and the Halifax refused to pay-up saying it wasn't insured. Recently our roof was almost blown off during storm Arween and when we claimed we were told it was "wear and tear" when the the affected extension was less than six years old.
They try and wriggle out of paying anything if they can find a get-out clause. What isthe point in paying £187 a year and not have peace of mind when needed that the insurers will pay out?
