After suffering some damage to 1 piece of my sofa suite, I was advised that I am only covered for that part and because there isn't a replacement available, I will need to choose something different and have a mismatched sofa. I called to query this as nowhere in my policy schedule does it state I am not covered although the policy booklet refers to replacement of sets.
I was advised if it isn't specified in my policy I am not covered. So by that logic, does that mean unless every item in my home is not covered and the policy booklet is essentially useless?!
The staff refused to put me through to a manager, using covid as an excuse. I work in a call centre and I highly doubt there was no option to transfer calls/speak to a manager.
Absolute sham of a company!!
