Renewed my home insurance over the phone as they had omitted to send a reminder and we were going on holiday and didn't want to leave our house uninsured. Our payment has gone through but two weeks later we still don't have our policy. Rang again yesterday to ask for both a hard copy sent through the post and also a emailed copy in the interim so we can check the details. No emailed copy as yet and I just hope we get something in the post by the end of the week as we have paid a year's premium up front. Feel like cancelling - what is wrong with these people - it should be so simple! It seems like they just want our money! Will not use them next year.
