I'm a new customer and bought the policy on line. I set the start date I had chosen however on completion their compuser system added in a different date.
It proved extremely difficult and frustrating to get this correctEd. Eventually it was however according to them, it was my fault.
I posted my frustrations on a Facebook group and was disturbed to find that my experience was not unique. People had horror stories regarding the service level this company gives, their unwillingNess to pay out. Many of the responders had to escalate to the Insurance ombudsman to get their problem resolved.
The overwhelming suggestion was to cancel the policy and use someone else.
I have decided to let the policy run however I hope I never have to make a claim.
This will be the first and last time I use MCE.
