I recently renewed a policy covering the use of an agricultural quad bike - upon initial contact with MCE it was apparent that the representative did not fully understand the type of machine covered and quoted a premium 50% higher than paid in the previous year. I paid this premium but then decided to contact MCE to establish the reason for the price differential.
The situation was resolved when a competent representative reviewed my policy and was able to arrange cover at the competitive rate paid last year. All in all very satisfactory.
