I have been with MCE for several years and they never send a renewal price, asking to telephone or go on line. The first year I telephoned and the chap was quite rude so ever since I go onto a comparison site and do it through them, which probably costs MCE commission. 2 months before renewal I updated my bike and was charged £74, I was told that it was because the new bike was worth more, yet when I renewed my policy it was only a couple of pounds more than last year. Loyalty does not pay and they take ages to answer the phone, but the policy is cheaper than others.
