I took out a policy on September 10th, received an email on October 3rd informing Me that my policy had been cancelled and I had to pay the full years premium - this includes the extra's I purchased (Personal Injury Cover).
I opted to pay in instalments and then got bombarded with emails from Premium Credit, I DID go onto PC's website to digitally sign the credit agreement so it can't be the reason for the cancellation.
I haven't been able to contact them yet but even so, regardless of their reasoning how can they charge a full years premium for less than a months worth of cover ?
It's probably in the small print but this sort of thing should be illegal.
I could have paid in full for the cover but didn't, imagine someone with no money trying to get insurance by paying monthly suddenly having no insurance and being expected to pay for a whole year in one lump.
This is the sorry of worry that can finish someone off.
I'm 53 and have been on a bike for most of my life with no problems, if this can happen to me it can happen to anyone.
I look forward to their explanation.
I will be avoiding this company from now and advising anyone who will listen to do the same.
Disgusting behaviour.
