I purchased a policy (social only) in July 2014 and since renewed because Priviledge was the best on price. However when I requested temporary insurance for my son who had just passed it was only after calling to activate the temporary insurance for the third time that the maximum number of times this could be done is 7 times over the duration of my policy. I learnt this It was by chance that on the 4th occassion I learnt this qas the policy and would have decided to run the originally temporary policy on rather than stop and start as I had done. Additiinally I only learnt about the benefits of the recovery policy being extended to other family members when enquiring about the temporary policy, I would otherwise not have known.
Information shared seems to be dependant on the customer advisor you speak to. When really knowledge base should be thorough so you are clear about the products you are purchasing.
