I have been a long time customer of Sheila's Wheels (years), and was told a had to pay £84.65 to cancel my policy today (I sold my car over the weekend). Their policy state a £35 handling fee for cancellations, which I understood, but the helpdesk clerk couldn't share with me how the calculated the extra fee. I told her I would be willing to pay it if I could see/understand the calculation and asked her thus to email it to me. She said that wasn't possible and I would have to pay and they would not cancel my policy until then. I've since written to them asking to show me proof of this added liability in my policy. Very poor customer service. If it's a legitimate charge, they should be able to detail it in writing. To any others experiencing this, you can complain to: CustomerRelationsExec@sheilaswheels.com
