I had a policy with Swift Cover, for home insurance (I paid upfront for the year). When it recently expired, I went with a different company. A few weeks ago, Swift sent me a letter saying I owe them money! The tone was quite aggressive. I rang, they reckoned they had e-mailed and written (I hadn't received anything), telling me when my policy was due to expire. I told them I'm not interested, I've got cover.
I've had a letter today, saying they want £31 and that if I don't pay, the amount increases, and that letters they send will be charged for too! I told themI'm not paying, can't pay, won't pay. They say that they automatically renew the annual policy. Cheeky gits. They can whistle for it
