They used to be pretty good, but recently the service level has been on a very steep downhill. I ordered an item on a flash sale, listed as "In Stock" on March 18th. It's April 4th today and the item still hasn't been shipped despite selecting express courier delivery with DHL. This item was supposed to be a birthday gift for my Dad for March 30th... Customer service response is "estimated shipping April 5th", no sorry, no excuse us, no nothing. This is not the first time this happens, although up to now the delay in shipping has never exceeded a couple of days. It looks like selling goods they don't physically have is becoming gearbest's business model nowadays as well as becoming a maketplace kind of thing where other sellers list their items without a clear indication of the fact that it's not gearbest selling You stuff but someone else. And obviously in such cases they don't feel any responsibility. Good thing they still accept paypal, at least I can get my money back without dealing with gearbest's customer service if they don't actually send the item tomorrow. This was probably my last purchase with this store anyways. I'm fed up, the prices aren't that great compared to what they used to be 2.5-1.5years back, and the few bucks saved aren't worth the nerve.
