BBB files indicate a pattern of complaints concerning customer service, shipping and billing practices of Gearbest.com. Consumers are telling BBB that the business is not delivering items within the promised delivery date. Many consumers that purchased merchandise from Gearbest.com say that they still have not received the ordered merchandise after several weeks have passed. Some consumers that do receive their orders tell BBB that items received are defective. Many consumers claim that they offered store credit instead of the refund they are seeking after their items are not received. Numerous consumers report a lot of difficulty in getting a response the company’s customer service department, despite multiple attempts to each them by telephone or email. Several consumers that do interact with the company’s customer service team are allegedly told that their products have been shipped and they are provided with a tracking number. Those consumers claim that the tracking numbers received from Gearbest.com are not valid and cannot be traced by the shipping carrier (FedEx, USPS).
