Really poor experience. Leather jacket I ordered was delivered in a totally unsuitable box that was delivered soaking wet by DPD (I recognise this was likely to be the fault of DPD). However I then discovered The jacket was stuffed into the box in a ball due to the small size and shape of the box. The jacket was far too small even though I had followed the sizing guidelines so it needed to be returned so I contacted GetGeared. Given the poor packaging I was shocked to be told I ‘should’ get a refund if I ensure the jacket is returned in as new condition! GetGeared obviously didn’t care how it was sent to me. Due to the condition and inappropriate size of the original box I sourced a better box and returned the jacket. I then waited and was notified my refund was processed exactly 14 days after GetGeared had acknowledged receipt of the return (GetGeared t&c’ state up to 14 days). I’ve now learned ‘Processed’ means they’ve agreed to the refund but I now need to wait for the money to reach my bank account! It should be noted I needed to contact GetGeared to clarify information sent to me about my PARTIAL refund (the payment I made for DPD delivery was not being refunded) and I was given lots of excuses about the original packaging, the time taken to ‘process’ the partial refund and the frustrating communication telling to ensure the jacket was returned in As New condition. This has been a Really poor experience and GetGeared think I’m an idiot if they think I believe the many excuses that they spout so easily. Never again!
