My book’s text and illustrations were already done by another freelancer (who, by the way, actually knew what they were doing). All this company had to do was some basic typography and layout work—nothing that require a Nobel Prize. Yet somehow, it took literally over a hundred emails, and the job was never completed correctly. Once they realized I wasn’t going to pour any more money into their pit of incompetence, they stopped answering my calls and emails. But they went ahead and published the book on Amazon without my approval.
