This is not a review so much as edification. There are TWO GIE organisations.
One is the Gemological Institute of Evaluation - American not for profit concern. From what I understand they may only test diamonds.
The other is the Gemological Institute of Europe - it's called European but I think it's based in India.I
I have not dealt with either and came to you for some insight.
