My Disappointing Experience with Glamira I was so excited to choose my dream engagement ring after my fiancé proposed on Christmas 2024. My search led me to Glamira, drawn by the ability to configure a ring exactly to my specifications – platinum with an AAAA unheated ruby. The purchase was made, and after an expected holiday delay, I received the ring in early February 2025. My initial mistake of ordering the wrong size meant sending the ring back for resizing. The resized ring arrived on March 5th, and my excitement quickly turned to bitter disappointment. Despite purchasing the highest quality stone available, there was a large, noticeable scratch across the top of the ruby. It's baffling how this could have possibly passed any form of quality control. The very next day, the ring was sent back to Glamira for repair. What followed has been an incredibly frustrating and opaque process. There was no communication from Glamira's side. We had to reach out ourselves in early April, hoping to have the ring back for important family gatherings. The response was that they needed to order a new stone and were awaiting its delivery. In early May, we inquired again, only to be told they received the stone on April 28th and it was "being processed," with no indication of when it would be ready. Here we are, on June 25th, and after another inquiry in early June, the status remains "processing" with still no delivery date in sight. It's been six months since my initial purchase. While I take responsibility for the two months lost due to the resizing, waiting four additional months (and counting!) for a repair on a brand-new, high-quality item is absolutely unacceptable. The lack of proactive communication and the indefinite delays have made this a truly disheartening experience. To make matters worse, Glamira has never offered any form of compensation for this significant mistake on their part or for the extensive inconvenience and wait time I've endured. I am incredibly frustrated and still without my engagement ring.
