Our ITIL Foundation course lecturer (James Keighley) was very entertaining with a 'Top Gear' style of delivery that was combined with in depth expert knowledge of the subject. Not only that, but he took care to get to know a little bit about each person on the course and would weave examples that individuals could relate to into the course teaching. ITIL Foundation is an inescapably dry and boring subject that has to be learnt in a certain way to pass the exam. I was initially worried about the amount of rote learning required, but James' whole teaching style along with handy mneumonics and diagrams has helped us get pretty good marks in the exam as well as giving us confidence to apply our knowledge at work.
