A recent promotion for a 3 month subscription is set to a hidden automatic renewal opt-in. You only find out once they have billed you and it is a renewal for the original subscription period, not a monthly basis. It cannot be cancelled. This is essentially dishonest marketing and the fact that there is a refusal on the part of the company to cancel the subscription or even PART of the subscription suggests that that this company isn’t too concerned with its customers. It is quite frustrating to deal with customer service whose only response is to communicate prewritten emails. Would suggest avoiding this particular subscription box, there are too many other options out there to deal with this grief.
