I used them for marketing and had the worst experience ever. It all sounded good at the beginning. They were touting how they will market my book and get me a lot of sales… However, their term 'marketing' is different then what I imagined.
What I thought that I would get would be Ads. What they gave me was a was a FB page advertised in Africa. Yup, Africa, not the US where I live. I did get a lot of likes on my page (5k), but no one was interested. Not one person out of 5k... After I discovered where they were advertising, I complained and they told me my (very expensive) package did not cover marketing in the US or Canada.
After the three months, I asked for a partial return of my money. At first, they agreed to give me 20% back, which was ok, but then they never sent the money and kept telling my it was my bank’s fault. I checked with my bank and they did not make any attempt to send the money, so basically they lied.
After a few more weeks of asking about the refund, they made up a story about the 3rd party company that handled the credit transaction went bankrupt and now they couldn't give me the money. What a joke… They could have easily sent me a check.
They basically said we can't give you the money, but we can offer you another month of marketing. Boy was I excited... The results were the same.
Word of advice. Stay away from Gnome and run your own Ads or use a service that sends out emails.
