When filling in the details for my car insurance i was asked who the main driver was. I entered my wifes name and proceeded after receiving the quote of £100, to the site of the insurance company in order to make the purchase. The subsequent insurance company immediately asked who the main driver was to be and i again entered my wife 's name. The amount i needed to pay rose from £100 to £115 ! I rang the insurance company and they informed me that the quote should be £115 and the increase was the fault of Go Compare and their system. I was not at all happy with this though i proceeded to pay the higher amount.
