Not once was I asked about what type of heating my house has. I took out a cover with LV, I even phoned them and spoke to someone about the policy. So l paid my money and received my documents by email.when I read through the policy it states that it doesn’t cover houses with oil heating, which mine is.so another phone call to Lv to cancel it. Funny how they can take your money there and then but cannot pay it back for 3 to 5 working days.
I know this is not go compares fault, but maybe if they would asked the question first It would have saved me a lot of time and bother. I had to then sort out some more insurance and pay again, so maybe for a week I will be out of pocket and in these difficult times, where I’ve earned no money for 8 weeks, I could do without that
