They did to me what they did to all the other people on here. I was told my account was "Fully Verified" and that same day, I had 3 clients pay me on gocardless, 1 of which was a new client, the other 2 were established for the past year, paying me on stripe.
I am selling Web Design, marketing and hosting services.
after those 3 transactions, they sent me an email that they closed my account because I did not meet their satisfactory use.
and they would not give me the money that was processed and did not mention they would return it.
Thankfully the next morning, after not able to sleep because I was so upset, I thought I was going to be thought of as a scammer by the new client, but I was able to still login, and cancel those 3 payments.
So that worked, I think. I don't know if they actually took the money from my clients.
or not. but I was able to cancel it.
But I don't trust them now.
I did appeal, but no way will I use them again. I don't trust them at all.
I just used my Authorize.net account to turn on eChecks, which does the same thing.
but I have to wait about 7 days for it to clear instead of 4 days. and I have to pay $10 per month now, but worth it, to not worry about them cancelling me, like GoCardless did.
Terrible, I even told support how it was not fair and they did not apologize or anything, they only said, okay we will close out the chat for now.
terrible response.
Terrible customer service.
Terrible Scammer Company.
