I booked a holiday vis a 3rd party around 4.30pm and the following morning at 9.30am I phoned to cancel. The holiday was for 2021 so 1.3 yrs in advance and this company refused to refund my £99 deposit even though it caused them no inconvenience. This was for an Amercian holiday but it is a British company.
