I have gone through nearly all brands of camp food provided by REI, and this brand is by far the best! Not only in quality ingredients but most importantly in flavor and portion size. With only water required to rehydrate, I would argue the flavor is better than even routine take-out back at home! This is the only brand I take with me on all my treks and I can't recommend it enough. The only downside is that since it is a premium meal, it's not the smallest package and therefore not ideal for ultralight and the bare minimalist. But if you can carry the extra weight, then you are going to thank yourself later when you're able to treat yourself to such a delicious meal at the campsite at the end of a long day of traveling!
